The rabbit: a keystone species in Mediterranean ecosystems

The main OBJECTIVES of the LIFE Iberconejo project are:

Analyse the state of rabbit populations in the Iberian Peninsula, their health status and the damage they cause to agriculture.

Collate all the good practices employed regionally to strengthen rabbit populations and lessen the damage they cause.

Create a governance structure to progressively bring on board all the key agents and all the competent administrations working in rabbit management who will work in coordination with the project’s partners.
